There are so many stressors on teens: not least hormonal changes and pressures from peers, education and social media. Teenagers often worry about world events, compare themselves to others and feel insecure.
With their brains and bodies changing rapidly, and important decisions and social interactions to be faced, a teenager’s mind can feel like a spiral of worries.
I use RTT to stop that spiral and build up your teenager’s self-esteem and resilience. RTT is a safe, fast and effective way to help teenagers overcome their emotional and behavioural struggles and install feelings of calm, control and confidence.
We are all born feeling a sense of connection and feeling that we are enough. These secure feelings can get disrupted in childhood, leaving teenagers feeling that they “don’t fit in”, “aren’t good enough” or with a fear of being judged.
RTT gets to the underlying reason your teenager is suffering from anxiety, disturbed sleep, self-harm, whatever the issue is – and clears that away. We then wire in positive, life-affirming patterns which support healthy ways of coping with the teenage years and beyond, including strong self-belief and a positive outlook.
I loved working with Sarah, she listens with such understanding…Her belief in me, as a 17 year old, has been so encouraging, her support unshakable. I would highly recommend her services.”
RTT hypnotherapy for teenagers provides fast, effective results for a range of emotional and behavioural issues teens suffer from, including…
“Working with Sarah has changed my life. I was suffering severe anxiety and panic attacks and couldn’t go out. Sarah has changed everything and my confidence is sky rocketing. Thank you so much for giving me my life back.”
“Every day I feel stronger.. I don’t worry so much about what other people think, I just concentrate on being me, and I have grown so much self confidence.”
It is a good idea to tackle low self-esteem before it leads to more serious health issues. RTT is ideal for wiring in new neural pathways to boost your teenager’s self-worth for the long term.
Often, but not always, linked to anxiety, lack of sleep is incredibly debilitating. RTT is excellent for rooting out what lies beneath the sleep disruption and programming in good habits and beliefs to restore a natural, easy sleep pattern.
Because these are subconscious responses, you need to deal with them at a subconscious level. Many teens have a fear of failure, rejection or being judged. I can help your teen discover and reframe what’s driving their fears or phobias and give them freedom.
Self-harm, hair pulling, skin picking.. Often linked to anxiety, there will be something buried in your teenager’s subconscious mind that’s driving these upsetting behaviours. Sarah can help your teen uncover what that is and then rewire to be free of these habits and have healthy self-esteem.
Teens with ADHD often feel like they have multiple trains of thought competing for attention. And even without ADHD, some teens find it difficult to concentrate. Sarah has helped teenagers use their own subconscious to retrain their minds to narrow down and focus, while also boosting their self-worth.
Many teenagers are keen to do well in their exams and yet struggle to find the motivation to apply themselves and fear they won’t be able to remember the mass of information. Teenagers can also get themselves worked up on exam day so they’re not in the best state to do themselves justice.

RTT uses hypnotherapy and a blend of other therapeutic techniques to create transformational results, fast.
Hypnosis is like guided meditation. Being in a ‘trance’ is a natural state of relaxation and focus, that we all drift in and out of during the day, for example when reading a book or scrolling through Instagram.
I am not a stage hypnotist, there will be no clucking like a chicken! Your teen will be in control throughout, and the wonderful thing is that, when in this focused state, their mind will provide the answers and results we are looking for.
Teenagers’ brains have an amazing ability to change quickly and build new positive pathways, making RTT an ideal, fast and non-invasive treatment for teens.
Generally within one cycle of RTT (one session and 21 days of listening to their personalised recording) we see radical positive change in mood and behaviours. And of course a happy, confident teenager massively improves the whole family dynamic.
I will want to meet you as well as your child to answer any questions you may have and to get your perspective on the issue(s) your teenager is struggling with.
I want to quickly establish trust and rapport with your teen and provide a safe space. Generally speaking, RTT works better if you are not in the room for the session itself but you are of course welcome to be nearby. While respecting your teenager’s confidentiality, and in line with my privacy policy, I’ll keep you involved throughout so we can work as a team for your child’s wellbeing and success.
“The most important words you’ll hear in your entire life are the words you say to yourself.”
